Therapeutic Radiology Practice Exam Author: Dr. Michael Mills An ASTRO ad hoc Committee on Physics Teaching to Medical Residents developed a core curriculum for teaching medical physics to Radiation Oncology Residents consisting of 55 hours of suggested didactic material. The curriculum reflected the current practice needs such as the use of digital imaging (EPIDs), the DICOM-RT data standard, IMRT, and HDR. The curriculum included instructional objectives for each lecture. The curriculum was approved by the ASTRO Board of Directors in 2006. A description of the curriculum was published in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, and Physics in 2007. | Chapters | | Chapter 1. Atomic and Nuclear Structure Chapter 2.
